Mark Decker
Vice President - Commercial Operations - TECO
Mark Decker serves as Vice President of Commercial Operations at Toledo Engineering Co., Inc. (TECO), where he provides executive leadership across the company’s commercial and contractual functions. In this role, he oversees commercial strategy, risk allocation, contracting, and enterprise-level decision-making, supporting disciplined execution and sustainable growth across TECO’s operations.
Mr. Decker brings a business-first perspective shaped by a legal background, applying judgment, pragmatism, and operational focus to help the organization navigate complex commercial environments efficiently. His approach emphasizes clarity, risk awareness, and collaboration, ensuring commercial frameworks effectively support TECO’s strategic objectives.
Prior to joining TECO, Mr. Decker practiced law with the American Chemical Society and served as General Counsel for a start-up thin-film solar manufacturer. He brings more than 14 years of experience working in and alongside the glass industry, with exposure to both established institutional organizations and entrepreneurial ventures. This diverse background informs his ability to balance governance, risk management, and commercial agility.
Mr. Decker holds a degree from Dartmouth College and a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
